When I took the role of online director for Popular Science in March 2014, the website had barely changed its design or functionality in 7 years. It was time for something drastic.
Working with a small team in our New York office and a staff of developers in Florida, I co-led an intensive redesign effort that kicked off on April 23, 2014. It ended on Nov. 19, 2014 with the launch of a completely re-imagined PopSci.com.
Afterward I continued to work with stakeholders across editorial, marketing, ad sales, and web development to evolve the site.
