Spread across the rooftop of an old bowling alley in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, a high-tech farm is in full swing.
The 15,000-square-foot hydroponic greenhouse is owned by a $2 million startup company called Gotham Greens, which grows produce and provides it to local grocers.
I visited the facility shortly after it opened its doors—camera in hand—and pulled together a gallery for Wired.com, titled “High-Tech Hydroponic Farm Transforms Abandoned Bowling Alley,” that offers a glimpse inside.
