More than 170,000 technology enthusiasts, exhibitors, manufacturers, and reporters descend upon Las Vegas each January for the Consumer Electronics Show, also known as CES.
I coordinated a small army of videographers, producers, hosts, freelance writers, and Popular Science staff members to cover the 3,600-plus booths at CES 2015. My nearly 20-person team produced 51 news stories covering cars, gadgets, games, software, culture, and the downright bizarre. Nearly half of our stories included video, most of which two different video crews produced on rapid turnaround.
