Dave Mosher is a science and technology journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting and writing stories about space, physics, engineering, energy, biology, and absurdly ambitious human endeavors.

As a senior correspondent at Business Insider, he tells those tales with a conversational approach using text, photography, data, graphics, video, and whatever else makes sense.

Prior to joining Business Insider in April 2015, Mosher served as the online director of Popular Science. He’s also a former Wired contributor and has written for Scientific American, Popular Mechanics, Discover, Space.com, National Geographic News, Discovery.com, Nature, Science, Health News Review, and other outlets and projects.

Mosher has watched humans, robots, and a car launch into space, flown over the North Pole to catch a total solar eclipse, toured cutting-edge (and defunct) nuclear reactors, and donated his poop bacteria in the name of science, among other reporting adventures during his career of more than a decade.

He lives in New York with his part-human, part-canine family.
